About Amy

Recently I came to an ugly realization–I am middle aged. I didn’t really think so but then I doubled my age and thought, “Hmmmm…some of people don’t live to that age. I must be middle age.” This epiphany came in the third quarter of my 39th year. So I am surviving middle age…it’s scary.

  1. I have made this. It is so delicious and easy. I use lite maple syrup…cheap store brand. Favorite all time pork tenderloin recipe.

  4. It was really good, my meat was just stringy like a roast. How do you make it sliceable?

    • I’m not sure if maybe it was that particular cut of pork tenderloin? Mine have never been stringy. Maybe if you try it again, check at the 4 hour mark and see how it is to check for doneness and see if it is more to your liking? Each crockpot cooks at different temps (like ovens) so it may have heated higher and cooked more? (guessing here).

  5. For 500 grams, I would go with low for 2.5 hours and check the meat temp. You can also cook this in the oven faster if you marinate the meat in the fridge. Cook time would be like 20 minutes. 🙂 Hope that helps!!!
