Battling The Bulge On A Budget

1 cup coffee, brewed strongly, cooled

1 cup skim milk

3 tablespoons plain non-fat yogurt, Greek

5 tablespoons fat free chocolate-flavored syrup

1 cup ice

1/4 cup Cool Whip Lite®

Mix all ingredients in blender except Cool Whip Lite until desired consistency.

Divide amongst 2 glasses.

Top each serving with Cool Whip Lite.

Serves 2.  188 calories per serving.

2 Other Carbs, ½ Non-fat Milk

Recently I came to an ugly realization–I am middle aged. I didn’t really think so but then I doubled my age and thought, “Hmmmm…some of people don’t live to that age. I must be middle age.” This epiphany came in the third quarter of my 39th year. So I am surviving middle age…it’s scary.
